Recently, Cove, the beautiful greyhound, had his dental procedure with us. Mainly he had a moderate amount of dental calculus, as you can see on the before dental photo. He also had a couple of extractions 🐶😬
All of our surgical procedures are carried out in our fully equipped van just outside your home 🏡We always have the pets under a general anaesthetic for the dental procedures. This is required even if just a scale and polish is needed as it can be uncomfortable for them, this way your pet wont feel a thing!!🥰
You can see the before and after dental photo’s of Coves mouth! his gums look quite inflamed after the procedure, this is because we need to go underneath the gum to make sure the whole tooth is clean to help prevent periodontal disease from advancing. The gums will settle after a couple of days. Afterwards, we always recommend brushing 🪥🐕
Cove has done very well after his procedure! his Mum said he is a lot more friendly! he was obviously experiencing some discomfort before the dental. We are so happy that Cove is doing so well! here is a lovely photo of him on his bed and one of him opening his mouth wide to show off his new pearly whites! 😁
